Amazing for the price ($60 in NJ). It's floral, fruity, sweet, and smooth, with a nice finish. Drink neat, or just a drop or two of water. It's a sin to mix this with anything else. It's surprising how good a blend can be, and at an affordable price!! (Scotland--are you taking note?)

Hibiki 12 is discontinued and replaced by Hibiki Japanese Harmony (NAS). Both the 17- and 21-year-old Hibiki's are still available, but prices are rocketing...
@Jason: The 21 yr old is amazing. Sadly, I think it's sold out now. Hibiki has also either stopped making it, or it's simply not enough to supply the demand. But, if you get the chance, try the 17yr old---it's still available.
I am fairly new to whisky, but so far this is my favorite! Wish I could try the 21 yo.
I just checked on the Total Wine website... It's still for under $60. $56.99 actually
@carpetoday: it was in Union, at Total Wine. But was an year ago...prices may have gone up
Where did you find it in Jersey for $60?
Where did you find it in NJ for $20?
