I had the pleasure of sampling and killing this incredible Bourbon at my local Whiskey Bar! This was the 7th Parker's Heritage Release and boy did Heaven Hill make sure to select the best of the best! Is it really possible that a 10yr old Bourbon bottled at a relatively mild 96 proof be that good? Let's dive in... Upon entry is oily and mouthcoating with a wonderful mix of sweet and spice. Maple syrup, cloves, vanilla and cinnamon all in perfect harmony. Caramel apples and a hint of nuts on the mid palate lead to a decent oak and spice driven finish. It lingers.. To put it simply, this is a quintessential Bourbon! Cheers All!

@jonwilkinson7309 I'll let you know for sure. I have had a number of them so will give an honest assessment!

Parker's is my whiskey white whale (or one of them). I had the opportunity to try the curacao, and I thought it was fantastic. I've known a few people who were underwhelmed, so I'll be interested to see what you think.

@PBMichiganWolverine yes sir! This proves that Big age statements are overrated in Bourbon. From my experience Barrel selection is King!

@dubz480 this is only 10 yrs old?!!? I guess it’s the right combination casks, distillate, and temperature

@Soba45 I am going to get to try that one on Thursday night at an event I am hosting... I'll report back!

I saw this pop up and thought hmm I think I scored a sample from TWE. I got the curacao variant. Wasn't cheap but I thought it's going to be my last TWE MoM order so might as well make it count!
