I bought this a little while ago for my wife and I was pleasantly surprised by Malibu Coconut rum. It was not so sweet as to be syrupy but it is sweet. Now I do drink flavored rum very much but my wife does like sweet drinks especially when it is hot outside and for the price this is not a bad choice for those kinds of drinks. However, at 42 proof I would have to drink a gallon to feel anything and I would be sick long before. This is fine for making Pina Coladas but not much else.
