On the nose, sweet caramel and vanilla. More aroma than I tend to find on Knob Creek 100.
On the palette, it delivers the flavors you’d expect from the nose, with the addition of a slight chocolate note.
During the finish, those same flavors continue and the chocolate becomes more dominant as the finish fades.
Overall, decent flavor. Not something I’d choose as a go-to. However, it’s a flavorful medium-proof bourbon I’ll keep around for the rare-occasion mixed drink.
