Nose: Complex citrus notes (lemon rind, dark oranges, grapefruit), tropical fruit (pineapple and mango, some nice sherry notes (mixed red berries, wine, fruity oak, candied wine gums), medium peat smoke (slightly ashy, slightly coastal, slightly rubbery with a touch of medicinal; like smelling a driftwood fire on a beach through a rubber pipe), slight meatiness (a touch of smoky bacon and smoked ham), some charcoal covered in honey and raspberry jam, creamy black tea, small touch of caramel and wood sugars, sweet toffee, light white pepper and cinnamon, some sweet vanilla, strawberries in syrup, hint of dark chocolate syrup, a small touch of honeyed heather floral notes, just a touch caramel covered candy red apples, rich raisins, a little spearmint, touch of peanut butter, slight heavy grain with butterscotch
Palate: Plenty of citrus (complex candied lemon rid, candied orange, fresh clementine and grapefruit), some barley sugar, bubblegum, leather, damp river stone, a touch of sweet spearmint, some chilli, some raisins, cinnamon and white pepper, green grape skins, sherry fruit (raspberry and cranberry), islay/coastal rubber peat smoke with a touch of bacon, oak spice, a touch of honey
Finish: White pepper spice, a hint of slightly ashy bonfire smoke and peat, some honey and candy apples, a touch of oak and fresh lemon rind, some sherry soaked wood, a hint of sea water, some ham saltiness and savoury grain, some light red table grape
