Nose: marzipan, butter, cut flowers, hickory.
Taste: bit solvent (bubble gum), bit meaty, like caramelized pork. Spiced like clove and mint. Lots of leather.
Finish herbs, pear, pork.
On the nose there are very subdued notes of sweet honey, oak, and baking spice. On the palate the honey is replaced by equal parts vanilla and molasses, which leads into the baking spice but long after the baking spice note has gone there is woody oak taste at the back end. A very nice sip with a good complexity to it.
