The Top Vodkas Made from Corn

Created by Bertito "Tito" Beveridge, a Texas native, this vodka sold its first bottles in 1997. His distillery located in Austin, Texas, is the first legal distillery in Texas since Prohibition. Millions of bottles have been sold since. Tito's is made from 100% corn and is gluten free.

Crystal Head Vodka launched in the US in 2008 in California. It is distilled from a variety of corn called "peaches & cream" and is filtered through layers of quartz crystals known as Herkimer diamonds. The water used in its production is glacial water from Newfoundland where the vodka is distilled. The unique bottle was designed by John Alexander.

Cutler’s is Santa Barbara’s first (legal) distillery and takes its name from its owner who traces his family’s history in spirits in California back to the early 1900s. The vodka is crafted from 100 percent non GMO corn and distilled at least seven times to ensure the removal of any impurities.

This American-made vodka is distilled from corn sourced from Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Water from Lake Fort Smith in Arkansas is added to bring the vodka to proof. It is charcoal filtered and brought down to 40% ABV.

Prairie Organic Vodka is distilled from non-GMO organic corn sourced from farmers in Minnesota. After harvest, the corn is brought to a co-op farm where the corn is milled, mashed, and fermented. This fermented mash is then taken to the Prairie distillery where it is column-distilled.

The Big Springs Distillery is a result of native central Pennsylvanians who took their education from Penn State to create a distillery in the neighboring town of Bellefonte. The Nittany Lions picked the location for its esteemed water source and proximity to the region’s celebrated grains — in the case of the vodka, corn.

Released in 2016, this gluten-free vodka from Stoli is made from corn (88%) and buckwheat (12%). The vodka is manufactured and bottled in Riga, Latvia.

This vodka from Nikka uses a base of corn and barley malt distillate which were distilled in a Coffey Still as the name suggests. The corn and barley malt were individually distilled and blended, diluted, and filtered with white birch charcoal. Bottled at 40% ABV.
