[FINISH] cigar smoke, moderate spiciness, followed by a nice touch of oaky/charcoal bitterness, medium long lasting. [COMMENT] very well rounded, a good entry level bourbon with outstanding value. Reviewed May 5, 2015 (edited December 5, 2015)[NOSE] mango, dark grape, black berry, caramelized brown sugar, followed by an outburst of grapefruit peel spiciness. [PALATE] Powerful arrival of sweetness, fusion of caramel + toffee + dark chocolate. Vivid oakiness. Notes of vanilla, honey, grape tannin and mixed fruits on the way down the throat. [FINISH] continuum of tropical fruity tones + vanilla, which give ways to milky chocolate. Lingering and long lasting. [COMMENT] A truly awesome and unique single malt whisky, extremely flavorful, great depth of complexity. Lovely indeed. (95/100) -

[PALATE] prominent honey and vanilla, which give ways to mango, honeydew, cream soda. [FINISH] mild spiciness, tropical, note of bitter orange, short lasting. [COMMENT] overall a light fruity scotch, smooth, easy to drink, a great choice for whisky new comers. (87/100) -

Reviewed May 2, 2015 (edited May 29, 2015)[NOSE] young, rubbing alcohol, banana, hint of vanila. [PALATE] sweet corn, banana, fruity candy, melon, light but smooth texture. [FINISH] mild spiciness, some hints of mixed fruits, a touch of toasty bitterness, short lasting. [COMMENT] a special bottle of bourbon that worth some tries. -

Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed May 2, 2015 (edited December 5, 2015)[NOSE] pleasant, balanced, honey, melon, rose. Lightly peated character in the background. [PALATE] salted butter, sausage, honey, green tea, sugarcane, toasty cashew, hints of mixed tropical fruits. Silky-smooth texture. [FINISH] nice carry over from the palate, tea-tannin, moderate back-to-nose spiciness, touch of bitter orange and peatiness, medium long lasting. [COMMENT] an excellent blended malt scotch, very smooth, complex yet elegant, a must have, definitely one of my go-to whiskies. (92/100) -

[PALATE] apple, honey, mixed berries, followed by notes of clove, cinnamon, and plune. [FINISH] medium arrival, moderate spicy, oaky bitterness, and a touch of fruity bubble gum. [COMMENT] overall a fine bourbon, but a bit overrated in my opinion. (85/100)
