Date of pick April 2022 This is a superb expression of a Maker’s Mark Private Selection. Great Proof at 108.0 ABV 54.0. I am not good at picking out the various tasting notes, but I do know what tastes great. This Bottle!!!

This is an excellent scotch which was aged in Oloroso Casks which give it a color and a finish similar to bourbon. I am a bourbon drinker that finds this scotch very appealing. I get a medium cinnamon finish

This is an extremely easy drinking bourbon!!! You typical bourbon flavors with no burn, medium finish. A definite “Buy Again”.

Your usual vanilla & caramel flavors are present. I feel that the proof brings out a creamy taste or texture to this bourbon. Finishes off with a nice cinnamon feel in the mouth. This is an excellent bourbon. Don’t let the 115 proof scare you off. It drinks like a lesser proof pour.

Nose and taste of vanilla and caramel. Very good sipper where the proof does not get in the way with a medium finish and dryness.

This is a fantastic scotch with a terrific flavor. I do not have the ability to identify specific aromas or flavors but know what is good. There is no alcohol burn. Nice medium length finish. I rate this fine scotch at a 4.5

You get the typical vanilla & caramel nose and taste. I find this as a very drinkable 125 proof bourbon. Full body & rich due to the high proof. An excellent drink!!!

I am a bourbon drinker that also enjoys scotch. However, this is my 1st tasting of a Rye whiskey. I found the aromas of vanilla and caramel. It is a light and easy sipping, no harshness to it at all.

Very light, tasty with a spicy finish which is short. There is no alcohol burn. Very easy sipping bourbon.
