Lagavulin Offerman Edition Guinness Cask Finish
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed January 19, 2022Tasted after the blind taste of Talisker and Ardbeg. The sweetness comes out more compared to them. To me it seems more balanced with the smoke. -
Talisker 10 Year
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed January 19, 2022 (edited February 16, 2022)Blind taste test. First time. Not as smoky in the taste as I expected. Kind of minty. Tastes a bit sharp to me, but also a higher proof than I'm used to. -
Lagavulin Offerman Edition Guinness Cask Finish
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed January 11, 2022 (edited February 2, 2022)The peat is definitely present, but less forward than I expected. The nose is sweet and smoky. With the taste the sweetness gives way to the peat. I'm not terribly familiar with Islay whiskeys but I really liked this. My wife said it tastes like "band-aids burnt up in a house fire".90.0 USD per Bottle -
