Heavy wood on the nose, with hints of sweetness, like wine. Come in hot, with caramel and oak.

This bourbon is pretty divisive for it’s heavy handed oakiness, but if you enjoy that profile, you’ll likely fall in love with this pour. Nose is nothing but oak and vanilla, but is remarkably enticing. The taste is smooth and welcoming for the age: creme brûlée and citrus peel. Fudge comes in on the backend

Honey and sweet pecan on the nose. Smooth vanilla and oak on the palate. Not too much spice, but a finish of pepper.

Red hot cinnamon on the nose. Oak and vanilla on the palate. Spicy initially that fades to a sweet, warm finish.

Nose draws you in with butterscotch and fig. In the mouth the flavor explodes with smooth floral notes and vanilla. Aftertaste reminds of pound cake and subtle red hot.

Cherry on the nose, with oak and brown sugar. Palate is strong, but remarkably smooth. Salted pretzel and cherry, hints of cola. An amazing bourbon.

The same, wonderful smoothness and complexity of Angel’s Envy, but sweeter, and more pronounced. A bit more pepper, fruit, and leather.

Nose is full of character: incense, vanilla, and oak. The palate is filled with nice spice, caramel, vanilla, and a hint of cola. Very good.

Interesting nose. Like salted ham and caramel. Palate is strong, hot up front. Tastes of nuts and leather. Fades to caramel.

Nose is dark, fruity, similar to tawny. Cherry and oak are also present. On the palate, cinnamon hits me right away with a little burn, like a red hot. The finish is pleasantly smooth.
