Picked up a couple of bottles on clearance for $14.99(!!!). For that price I give this a 6 out of 5. It’s really friendly, light peat, light citrus, nice sweetness and vanilla. A bit watery for my liking, but compared to just about every 40% scotch I’ve tried this is one of the better ones. Not much else to say about it. 43-46% and it would be at least a 4 out of 5.14.99 USD per BottleRalphs

Glenlivet 14 Year Cognac Cask Selection
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed February 17, 2021 (edited May 10, 2021)Found for $38 on clearance. Well worth that price, but wouldn’t purchase at full price (Glenfiddich 14 Bourbon Barrel Reserve is a better option in the price/age range). I didn’t get much of anything in the mid-palate. The cognac comes though in the finish, which was enjoyable, but overall this scotch feels like it’s lacking depth at 40% abv. -
