For a 15 year and a low ish proof, I would have liked a smoother more flavorful taste.

True that it is oily, wgich is great but at 104 proof, I thought the taste would be a bit more. Lots of spice.

I know this is a barrel proof bottle, it could have a smoother start and finish. Lots of heat.

When I saw only two reviews and they both gave 4+ stars, I was a bit cautious in buying it. Well, after a day of thinking, I bought a bottle and you can see how many stars I gave it. This “juice” has a well balanced flavor. Nothing is in your face. I would like it a bit higher in proof but it is a great bottle to have in your collection.

Very smooth. The last taste has a mild bite but overall great flavor. This won’t disappoint! Make sure it is the spring 2019. I found this better than the fall 2019.
