Smooth and sweet. A straight forward taste from grain whisky (as the review says - buttery toast). Nice spices aftertaste. A great whisky for Sunday afternoon on ice.

For me, this is the whisky that started the journey of becoming a Three Ships fan. I’m not a huge fan of the 5 and 10 but their work with limited editions has been excellent. This bourbon cask is an absolute winner. A more complex taste and stronger presence.

This grain whisky has become a standard stock in my cabinet. It’s a softer mouthfeel and a well-rounded taste. Fruity notes are evident. Enjoyable on and off ice.

Better than I expected but still lacks a distinctness in taste. I always feel that scotch in this price range lacks taste in comparison to the bourbon’s and grain whiskeys it competes against.
