I get earthy and vanilla from this. Notes of pine. Seems like a fairly young whisky. Not bad, but not my favourite.

Reminds me a bit of a smokey spiced rum. Plum and a dark berry? A little sweet, but just enough to smooth out the flavors. I love Ledaig, and this one was a great expression! A great cosy winter whisky. I am a little sad a bit of my pour got spilled, will have to seek it out again!

I love a smokey dram, but this has been one of my favourites so far! Briny, smokey, a little sweet but not syrupy, with a finish of chocolate. Very cosy, warm, and comforting.

It tastes a bit like cleaning out a rabbit hutch. Wet timothy hay. I also get birch wood. Very sweet, which is a little odd opposed to the hay taste. Very smooth / soft without much burn. A bit of a spicy aftertaste. Not sure I would ever reach for it, aside as an interesting statement piece.

I really like the mouthfeel of this one. Buttery tastes. Finish fades to liquorish, which is not my favourite flavour, but it interesting in this.
