Tastes

On the nose you pick up the San Sebastián port along with figs and syrup. On the pallet there is some char and dark fruit with a bit of the port coming through with hints of vanilla. It’s young so not a lot of oak and char but the finish again the port is there and some nice spice and warmth that lingers in the mouth

Nice oak vanilla with a hint of banana cream with a bit of spice coming through. Finish is nice and warming with nice pepper spice that lingers nicely

Vanilla, sugar cookie, oak and maybe marshmallow on the nose Nice oak char and brown sugar on the pallet with some nice spice notes with a hint of cherry Finish is medium in length with a smooth spice that lingers

As a Jim Beam fan I didn’t like this expression on the first or second time tasting it. 3rd time that classic Beam flavor comes through. Nice oak and toffee with a spice punch. Dark fruit seems to be there in the back. Still not a smooth as I would prefer but much better now that it’s been open for a few weeks. Long spicy finish with the 108 proof dominating. Still not my top favorites from Beam but not kerosene either
