Lovely and balanced dram. Vanilla from the oak, toffee, a bit of lemon, mixed with a healthy smoke. Toffee & a medicinal note on the nose. Smokey finish with a medicinal/Jaggermeister flavor. Day 4 of Peaty advent calendar 2022.

A really enjoyable dram. Mint, green apple, and pear on the nose carry forward onto the palate where they mix with a moderate and crescendoing peat. Would love to get a bottle of this! #3 in the 2022 Japanese advent calendar.

Sweet & creamy on the nose. Pepper and oak on the palette. The smoke really crescendos and leaves a pleasant finish. Dram #2 of 2022 Japanese Whiskey advent calendar.

Really enjoying this 2nd entry to the 2022 peaty whiskey advent calendar. Nose and palette have a chocolate-mint sweetness that I haven’t encountered before. This is nicely balanced on the palette with peppery peat and oak.
