I think this one has been a tad underrated by the users. I'll lean towards the expert review, as this was an excellent combination of various favorable flavors. Great bang for your buck as well.

I think this whiskey suffers from popularity...commonness, if that's a word. I don't think I can say anything about it that everyone doesn't already know, but I haven't had it in a while and it's like seeing an old friend.

Interesting pour. Banana nose, but very strong on the first sip. You get some smoke and peat, and it's hard to pull out much more...until I put a small ice cube in there. All of a sudden, the softer floral notes came out.

I love the smooth Irish stout finish on this. Jameson up front, coffee and malt notes on the back end.
