Tastes

This larceny release is an upgrade to previous ones in my opinion. It has a very earthy nose with some slight sweet notes in the background. It has a nice kick when you sip it while it has a bit of deep taste of oak then More oak. Some slight sweetness comes up but generally it’s oak and pepper. It personally is just not my favorite flavor profile but has some decent qualities. It does have a slight bitter taste too though that is its biggest con.

Superb drink! The nose is just full of deep caramel and toffee. The first sip has that smooth thick rich flavor that is fairly spot on with the nose. Caramels, toffee, vanilla, oak. This is a must have bottle to be shared with your closest of friends!

Great drink. You will get a very smooth cherry, light spice, oaky finish. For the price it is a good value. Quality drink for under $60.

This is just a great pour. If this had another label on it you would be buying it for roughly double it’s current MSRP. Prime example of a whisky that punches way above its price point. You will get a smooth drink with taste of spices, oak and tobacco that will linger after your sip. Must buy in my opinion if you find it.
