Tastes

Nose: Had this right after a few Laphroag 10 and the first note I got was burnt caramel, creme brulé style.

Nose: The peat was evident but I loved smelling it. This was my first try and picking up anything other then peat was hard but there was a sweet floral that kept me coming back. Palate:

Nose: the peat is the first thing that hits you then it kind of dies, not much else. Palate: It is somewhat malty to start, I get a little butter homey before it turns into smoke, not overbearing, not rough and not rounded off either.

Nicer evolution this time, at least on the palate. Started out with a nice malty feel then turned into a salty briny smoke and kind of finished off with a creamy butter tarte.

Nose: peaty, instantly attracted

Nose: getting some green tea Palate: very nice evolution, from a sweet herbal tea to buttery caramel to a spicy and smooth finish. - New taste Nose: getting wood notes, some spice. Palate: starts out with a malty oily creamy chocolate that lasts a bit then ?

Nose: sweet caramel Palate: sweet caramel and light touch of oak
