Nose is very pleasant, hint of cinnamon, sweet. I can tell it’s a Rye, but the black pepper is the most pronounced. Batch No. 17E2204

I get a bit of a medicinal cherry with a strong alcohol nose. Taste is hot and spicy, very oaky. Just had this had the Louisville distillery and remember it being a little sweeter, could be because of the 3 I had before! Might try that approach next time.

I did get the milk chocolate as stated on the nose, green apple too. Taste is spicy and earthy, vanilla as well. Similar to a rye. Update with ice cube: strong chocolate covered cherrys, that opens up to cinnamon and orange in waves. Spicy and vanilla still pronounced in da mouth! Barrel No. 11442 112.1 Proof
