Full bodied smoky and peaty whisky with whiffs of iodine– in a good way! Goes well with cocktails too!

Bright, fruity with a coastal twist. Smells like sea air, ripe melon, and tart cherry, followed by a light palate of juicy apricot, creamy toffee, and a subtle herbal hint, possibly eucalyptus-like. Medium-long dry finish with black pepper and lingering fruit. This is getting hard to find nowadays.

Salty, smoky, yeasty, savory loaded with umami! The best Ardbeg for me.
