Smooth for a barrel proof, can feel the heat but no bite. Nose picks up maple syrup and vanilla. Some sweetness in the flavor, pick up that syrup taste but yet spicy. Thinking this will help shift my mind off of Xmas shopping, prep, meals and wrapping! A mini vacation

A little Christmas joy for myself while out finishing the shopping. A smooth sipper. Sweet to the taste, can pick up the rye and rum. Nose I pick up rum as well. No initial bite however the after warming sensation is a nice surprise. The more I sip this the better it is!

Still at the airport and decided to give this one a go again since I like the double oak so much. It’s still a tad sweeter than I would like initially however a nice finish.

Paid too much for a pour but when at the airport for a couple hours why not. Bland nose, light and smooth. Not a grand finish, it’s like a $2 firework - burns quick. Easy to drink, would make a good old fashioned of you feel like a mixer.

All the hotel bar had and after an excessively longer than normal 35 mile drive through snow, ice, sleet and then rain in the Boston area I’ll take it. At least it calms the nerves after that crazy drive! Pick up smells of vanilla, some sweetness with spice. Not a Sri finish.

Strong alcohol smell, not a lot to the nose. From a taste standpoint get some pepper but fades quick. Better than I thought, bought for the label when Cruzin the bottom row.

Nose is almost like a scotch/bourbon blend, also get notes of rye. I am not getting the”Christmas” spice which is one of the reason I got it. No initial heat but a warmness after which is nice, sticks with you with a bit of pepper. *neat*

I have had this before but maybe it is the stillness of the night, the darkness, the 12.12 full moon approaching as the flavor profile seems different. There is the initial smoothness, the vanilla/Carmel/pepper spice that hits and then a bit of warmth which warms the soul. Very drinkable for the price point...curious to try with some h2o or an ice cube. Drank neat.

This time added a couple drops of H2O. Opened up the nose. Get more of a tobacco and spice smell than with the neat pour. Enjoyed the taste of the neat pour more however the spice does come out more.

Surprisingly smooth. Initial heat turns to wonderful winter warmth. Nice spice complemented with sweet. *neat
