Awful!

Sampled this along with Kentucky spirit and barrel bourbon. Kentucky spirit for the price can’t be beat but this is a far more matured version. Very tasty. I didn’t notice the floral notes but def the classic bourbon notes. Vanilla. Oak. Peanut brittle caramel with a slight grassy taste to it. Delicious to say the least !

Unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. I definitely get the apple taste and an almost honey laced smoke on the palate. Then onto a “zing” I can’t even describe but only one that I’ve tasted with this. A strange numbing quality that sticks to the top of your mouth and makes you eager for another sip. I think this what inspired ZZ Top’s song about legs. Longer than Kate Middleton In all honesty, I’m not sure if my palate was ready for such an experience but this makes you want to try out for the big leagues and fail happily.

Just can’t get into this. Same bottle opened for months and no change in flavor. Good nose but that’s about it. The Evan Williams single barrel is far superior to this at an equal price point.
