Tastes

Nose is a bit indistinct for me, spirit and some feint orange. Palate is more butterscotch, honey and typical Speyside fruit cake. Finish medium long with a slight bitter chocolate tinge.

The colour is beautiful. Rich, deep mahogany. Nose is dry red wine with some honey undertones. The palate is rich a fruity with the wine more pronounced in the finish. For me, the colour and the nose are the most enjoyable part of the whisky, the palate not quite there for me.

Very pale in colour, almost as white wine. Some lemon and honey on the nose with smoke and salt. Slightly medicinal on palate but a very thin mouth feel. Short finish. Pleasant and drinkable, the nose better than the palate. I wouldn’t buy a bottle.

Very sweet nose, peaches and a hint of smoke. Very delicate mouthfeel and palate follows the nose. Short finish with slight citrus notes.

Lots of honey on the nose, sharp mouth feel that mellows into a very heavy liquid. Woody notes follow honey on the palate with some spice. Short to medium finish, lovely dram.
