Deep. Taste of caramel when neat. Sweet. Def a quality bourbon.

100% corn mash with 2 yrs in charred oak. Strong corn taste. Either needs another grain or longer in a deep char barrel. Taste like unaged Arkansas corn mash. A bit disappointed.

Nose is a bourbon/rye whiskey not much smoke (maybe covid). Definitely rye and more smoke on the taste with a surprising sweet swallow. Bit of a burn and spice on finish which is expected. Bit of water helps. Overall I am very happy with it. I am a bourbon guy first and like this taste of this scotch.

Got this as a gift. And loved it. But……side by side with Evan Williams White Label. Did neat and with a bit of water. While I like a wheated bourbon, I find the EW holds up with the water much better. Cant really tell an significant difference neat. Unless something changes tomorrow. Will save myself $20.

Spicy but sweet. Listed review makes it seem a bit more harsh than it is. Try it. Good for price point.

I think this is better than the 101 bourbon. Spicy as a rye should be but sweet. Surprisingly enjoyable. No more than one cube if you must. I enjoy more than the “expert” did.

Definitely on the peaty/smokey side. But a touch of water is all it takes.

Good. Sweet more than pepper. Would drink neat for sure. Was a gift so unsure of price.

Didn’t expect it and almost didn’t want it. But this is a better drink than Jameson. Color and nose are very close. But the taste is deeper. Better. Saving a few bucks it the topper.

Not sure how the expert rated this lower than the black label? This is surprisingly solid bourbon for the price. A good bourbon for a higher price. Full sweet taste and not too much rye ( if you dont like the spice). Evan better for mixing.
