Tastes

Corn, oak, vanilla and rye. In all the best ways possible. This stuff is great, available and affordable. It’s got some heat up front. Just a nice all around sipper bourbon with enough complexity to keep things real interesting.

The 12 year age-stated EC was my favorite bourbon for a good many years. I was heartbroken when they removed the age statement and started bringing in younger juice (though the new EC is great). I miss these days.

The cherry note is overwhelming to me. Almost medicinal. I can’t get past it. Has a little heat in a nice way but that cherry medicine note is so heavy that it distracts me from everything else going on. Lots love it but it’s just not right for my palate.

Lighter tasting wheater. The taste is clean and refreshing but lacks depth. Glassy is the word that comes to mind. The notes are sweet but not sugary. It’s calming and still.

Absolutely cannot beat it in this price point. Yeah, it can be rough around the edges. But the flavor is well-rounded, the proof is solid and it gets things done.

Very solid Beam. Easy to drink, nice peanut note. Good value.

Love the peanut note in Knob Creek. Awesome bourbon for the price and easy access.

I really adore the marshmallow note in this one. So much. Possibly my favorite readily available bottle of bourbon.
