Tastes

Nose: strong alcohol that drowns out other more subtle notes. Maybe some cinnamon and cloves but could be my imagination Mouthfeel: thick and chewy with some softness Taste: subtle up front with some raisin and cinnamon, immediately drowned out by strong flush of ethanol, heat, and spice the second it touches oxygen. Fire goes out quickly with a subtle muted finish for a barrel proof. Better after it opens up a bit, but maybe a smidge over hyped

Nose is light but with a lot of citrus and ethanol Mouthfeel is light and airy Taste is a lot of citrus up front (orange, lemongrass, and mellows to cherry and leather before it evaporates off the tongue. Finish is light and subtle finally bringing in the oak right at the end. Great whiskey at $25, over rated at anything over $50

Nose: pretty flat, slight sweetness with some oak Mouthfeel: velvety and a bit oily Taste: sweet vanilla and cherry with some current up front, medium length finish with a slight burn of oak on the tail end. Great smooth drinker

Wow, blown away by it’s awesome nose and subtle finish. Wish I had a whole bottle to enjoy!
