Tastes

I get the sweetness when I first taste it and the fruit and nut at the end. i like the way the sherry and bourbon casks add to the flavor. Very smooth way to end St Patty's day.

Very solid bourbon, smooth and flavorful with a very nice finish. As a primary beer drinker I like to try different bourbons as a special treat versus keeping the same bottle in my decanter. That being said I do buy the barrel proof of this whenever I see it, very similar taste but wow, what I kick.

I am partial to the higher rye drinks and this one hits the spot. At 4 years old and BiB it is a very tasty drink to have, especially while brewing a Hopslam clone.

A subtle bit of heat, light spice, a very refreshing drink at the end of a long day. Not overpowering or dominated by any one flavor just a relaxing glass of bourbon to end the day.

Very good whiskey, smooth and just the right amount of spice and heat.

Shared this with my adult sons on Christmas, nice and spicy yet extremely smooth. The perfect amount of heat and really opened up with a little water.

Wanted to update my rating. the more I drink this the more I like it.
