Tastes

For a moderately priced select bourbon this is wonderful. The banana really comes through on the nose. The spice and fruit REALLY comes through on the taste, but not quite overpowering. Definitely on my keeper list.

Pleasant, full, and fruity ... but lacking depth in the mouth.

Very clean on the nose, a bit of a bite on the tongue. Slightly more than a hint of smoke, and maybe a bit of sour lemon, but otherwise not overpowering. Not bad, and definitely drinkable, but hoping for a little bit more.

Weird, but not a bad idea in specific situations

Not bad at all. Ok, get over it that it's not straight 'Jameson'. Its a mix of coffee of good quality Jameson. Lower ABV, yeah, with a clean coffee flavor. My 'go to' Jameson? ... no (that's Black Barrel). But as an optional break-from-rutine, a pretty good option.
