Tastes

There’s a bready sweetness to the nose, think toast with jam and confectionery sugar. A little heat comes through on the nostrils, but pretty light. The upfront taste is woody and spicy, but the sweetness quickly returns. Oak spice, cinnamon, and toffee. The finish is hot as well, and tends to stay that way, hiding much of an aftertaste.

The nose is mellow and woody, more on the fresh cut wood side than a charred barrel. The taste is sweet and fruity with cherry, caramel, and a nice cinnamon sugar finish
