I don’t get much on the nose, maybe a small amount of dried fruit. The taste has a little spicy and vanilla sharpness with a fairly notable and lengthy grain finish. I don’t think I’ve had a ton of single malt whiskies; it’s enjoyable to try but certainly not my favorite.

Gotta be honest, I like 12 year way better. 12 is so smooth and tastes like butter cookies; 15 year seems to have sort of chemical/alkaline taste... something is just off

I’m not sure if this is supposed to be merely a novelty item, but it’s definitely not my favorite bourbon. It’s not terrible, but it’s not that good. I’d give it an extra quarter star if it still had the old label...

I’ve seen this family on the shelves and have heard tons about this product for a few years - and finally I decided to try it! Some of the online reviews made me think I’d be wasting money on this purchase, but I am fairly pleased. I can’t put my finger on it, but there’s something different about this whiskey. It’s almost a buttery, salted caramelized flavor. There is a little bite, but it’s gentle and purposeful. Very pleased overall! I foresee myself purchasing tastes of future voyages!

My current favorite! Very pleasant scent and a smooth, butterscotch taste.

Definitely not what I was expecting. I was thinking I’d pick up much more floral or fruity scents, but I get the smell and taste of the fresh flour in homemade pasta noodles. Very smooth though, goes down easily. Tried on the recommendation of a friend; found it to be drinkable, but not remarkable. I don’t know why I’m not picking up the notes everyone else is - maybe the COVID?
