Tastes

One of my favorite gin of all times Basically, it's a walk in the boreal forest trapped in a glass. It's one of the only unaged gin that I can enjoy by itself on the rocks (I'm more of a neat whiskey drinker). A must have for any gin affectionado.

I liked the Waxwing gin so when I saw that the same distillery was producing this new honey gin, I was thrilled to taste it. I tasted it with some friends and we all tasted the same thing: Clean diapers and baby powder. So weird and gross to taste a "clean baby smell" in a gin. Very disappointing gin. I gave the bottle away, none of the people I tasted it with liked it. And yes, even with a cheap tonic, you will still taste the diaper. Won't buy again, that's for sure.
