Tastes

(edit November 12 - I increased my score on this to 4.50 from 4.25. I just keep coming back to this one, liking it more each time) Neat, Room temperature, no water added in subsequent tastes, from a Glencairn. Batch B517. The nose will wake you right up and demand attention. Complex. I get vanilla and rye. A little oak. The palate is warm and lively. Cinnamon is notable. I'm still getting vanilla too. Subtle sense of sweetness also. The finish is gorgeous. Flavors stay with you and mellow into a warm coating that lasts and lasts. Spicy... Still feeling the cinnamon tingle.
