Tastes

Smell is bright, some apple, baking spices/bread, vanilla. Taste is bright, some fruit, oak warm going down, ends peppery and some apple. Mellows, less bright/fruity, after sitting for 10 minutes.

Smell is balanced, sweet/vanilla/even spiced rum, a tinge of ethanol. Taste is well balanced, warm, sweet, some heat. I can see why this is so likeable at this price point. A bit of a cinnamon/oakey, dry finish.

Nose is mellow, caramel candy, vanilla, reminiscent of baking smells. Taste is instantly unique. Oak-ey, sweet, and smoky at the same time. Not much spice or pepperiness and no ethanol heat at all. Both smooth and somewhat complex at the same time.

Nose is surprisingly subtle. Taste starts a little sweet and vanilla, some orange. Ends with more spice and pepper and a bit of chocolate.

not complex on the nose, taste is mellower/not as hot as Makers. A lot of orange, occasionally some apple, cinnamon and honey

Taste is peppery, significant amount of ethanol heat, a little sweetness, not as good as I remembered

Relatively easy to drink considering the price, age, and high proof. Not complex on the nose, sweet, honey. Caramel, vanilla, peppery taste. I do get a bit of a fake cherry medicinal after taste.

Lots of apple on the nose and taste. Not much heat. Not very sweet. Finish some herbal/smokiness
