Tastes

Can definitely taste the port wine note. Not a fan at first but wears on you after a few tastings.

Falls below “3” on my palate due to a lingering taste that I do not care for. Can not describe it yet but I keep thinking that it reminds me of something that has leeched in from packaging material.

I have to try this again to add my tasting notes……

Was a favorite at the tasting event but got beat by Elijah on my palate.

Pungent aroma with a barrel taste from front to back. Some may like this, just not my fav.

Smooth enough but leaves a woody note aftertaste on the back of the tongue.

Absolutely no bite. Strong vanilla/caramel with no other noted notes. Great sipper any day. I just opened another bottle and it tastes much different. This one does have an after bite and much more flavor. I am disappointed by the inconsistency in bottles but still rate this highly.

Had to mix it to finish my pour, yikes!

So-so, better value choices than this
