Opens nicely with some water and in an old fashioned. Vanilla, cream, brown sugar, oak. Finish lingers with cinnamon, spice, and just the right amount of warmth. Delightful.

Sweet. Vanilla. Nice finish with a tiny hint of spice lingering. Fairly rich; not thin, but not rare breed rich, either. This is a GREAT value for the price. My only critiques are that it's not very complex, and it's a little one dimensional in the sense that the sweetness dominates. Being a wheater, not shocking. I just prefer a little heavier, richer profile with the elusive perfectly spiced finish that lingers. I'll still happily sip this neat, but I wouldn't make this an all day session bottle. Still has a place in my cabinet, though.

I picked up some kind of perfumey floral almost cilantro type note in this. I like cilantro; this was gross. Not for me.

Decent intro to bourbon, mainly because of the price.

Outstanding. Balanced, rich, smooth.

It is pleasant. Very light, not very complex. My standards are Elijah, Bulleit, Eagle Rare, Makers, and Knob Creek. When you can get Buffalo Trace and Larceny for less than this, it's hard to justify even considering this.

Hot, bitter, ethanol lingers. Evan Williams is way better value.
