Tastes

I generally really like lagavulin's products, their 11 year offerman edition (2019) was my favorite. After tasting this, it's hard to compare without a retaste of the 2019. This is 4 years older and is a bit smoother. I would buy this again any day If you get the chance to try this please do! Nose: strong peat and earth, a bit of sweetness and pepper Taste: smokey, peat, a bit of oil and vanilla After taste: long lasting taste, leaves you with a sweet smokey taste, similar to a very light cigar

Strong tastes of peat but balanced a wonderful starter to explore peat

Very good for its price, would pick this over standard Jameson any day

Tastes of light fruit, and a hint of malt

Nose of campfire, wood and peat. Palate of spice and pepper. Finish was spicy and long lasting

Nose of herbs and honey. Palate that was very sweet and fruity, finish was light and sweet but long lasting

A nose of herbs and caramel. Palate of floral, woody and spice. Wonderful finish that goes from floral to spice. First bottle I went out and bought again just to have it on hand while I still had some left
