Craoi na Mona
Single Malt — (Finished in Scotland), Ireland
Reviewed October 6, 2019 (edited November 10, 2020)First Irish whisky. Harshness that doesn't get balanced out by the peat. Unique flavours of banana and icing sugar but overall it didn't really work for me -

Limeburners Single Malt Sherry Cask Standard Strength
Single Malt — Western Australia, Australia
Reviewed July 22, 2019nice sweetness and grainy flavour with a lot of character. a little bit too much sherry cask for me and heavy on the custard/nutmeg nose. spirit is a little harsh. didn't run back for more but it was a nice one to try. -
Glenmorangie Lasanta Sherry Cask Finish 12 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed June 4, 2019spicy notes, long finish, slight liquorice strappiness. good whisky but not my type. ate with dumplings, not a great idea. slightly chemical. -
marshmallow and meringue, a sweet whisky with a slight custard flavour adding some depth. the spirit is late and punchy, undermining the delicate flavours slightly. easy drinking and probably great in a cocktail but not enough complexity to really savour. adding water helped but detracted from the sweet notes.Whisky Loot - Subscription tasting club
