3.5
3.5 out of 5 stars
Maybe closer to a 3.5. This has what I'd expect from ardbeg, with a few more stone fruit and flower garden notes swirling around on the nose and palate. Not distinctive enough from the 10 to make me want this in stead, but also doesn't have the vibrant bouquet that Uigaedail and Laphroiag Triple Wood have, nor the subtlety of Lag 16 or Oban 14. Good but not exceptional.
