Arran Quarter Cask "The Bothy"

Nose: Light and fruity, green apples. Lots of fruit after water. Bourbony due to quarter casks. Palate: Bright, sweet, woody, quite dry Finish: Long but very dry bitter Pricing for a cask strength scotch is excellent. A bit too woody for my liking. Sample from Horny Pony

Drunk with Oliva Serie V Melanio - Woody, vanilla on finish, great mouth feel, smooth for the strength, water brings out more spice flavour, sweet fruity notes,
