First nose of this is distinctively smoother than most single malts, has an almost blended subtlety. The fruity, sweet nose gives way to the toasted cereal in equal measure. Palate is warm and toasty but not as flavorsome as I would have liked. Nice sweet finish. Not a bad dram but I suspect this is geared towards bringing bourbon and blended drinkers into the world of single malt as oppose to being a great single malt in its own right.
