Creamy and smooth with a slightly fruity finish. Sort of evokes a bourbon. After a touch of water the alcohol comes through more which was unexpected. Definitely prefer this without water.
Faint cigar smell, also on the nose: musty sweet leather and dusty figs. Palette: layered good musty, mild smoke in the middle, maybe some pineapple in the back end (haha) and honeydew melon. Then after a while a baking slice maybe nutmeg
Sweet and fruity on the nose. Rich on the tongue with more fruit but tart. And the spice and vanilla. Lingering finish for a 12-year, but not as long as the Auchentoshan Three Wood.
Drinkable, but without being anything special.
Nose : vanilla, floral notes, citrus blossoms, slight smoke that dissipates quickly
Palate : mostly vanilla and sweet/caramel notes, some alcohol burn ; disappointing after the nose
Finish : medium length, fairly indistinct flavors
