Enjoyed. Also made whiskey sour and apple cider old fashion with.

Apple, wood and almonds on nose. Fruit, oak, slight char, high spice with fairly hot finish- especially for 98 proof.

Nose is full of apple, a bit ethanolly. I get a lot of sweet early elements. Brown sugar Caramel, vanilla, and some of that apple. Honestly, the most unique part of this pour is that I’d actually drinks pretty cold. It’s at room temperature, but it seems chilled. Pretty harsh bite, especially for under 100 proof. However this is made up with a great warm and long finish. A little char and some clear oak at this point. Slight tobacco. Honestly it grew on me throughout the drink and the harshness improved. Will have to taste again after a primer.

Vanilla, toast, caramel, some butter and cinnamon and a good long lasting heat to finish it off

Nice complex pour, some rough edges but overall a nice pour
