Basil Hayden Dark Rye

Unbelievably drinkable. Almost like white dog

I liked the first sip and it’s growing on me more and more. Someone mentioned it’s like a Manhattan, and I agree. I got it on sale and it’s good for the price.

I thought it was great. Full body, rich, sweet, spicy. Lots going on. Much better than the Basil Hayden’s bourbon.

Just plain bad. Sweet with a gross port flavor that’s isn’t subtle like you might get if it was aged in port barrels. Some idiot distiller thought it was a good idea to just dump port into the whiskey. How wrong he was
