Carmel and vanilla

Aroma is sweet candy and almonds. Really changed as it opens. Some tropical fruit notes and dark brown sugar that later was more caramel like. Dark chocolate and even a moment of coconut. The heat is very present.. Toasted oak, especially in the finish... Keep thinking about Mounds candy bar. Finish becomes more spicy as it continues to open.

Smooth smooth. Light mellow.

A quick tasting after a long day of shopping. I am typically more together with the holidays however not this year so a little reward for some major catch up. #1 of 4 tasting. Still a nice pour!
