Blue Note Juke Joint Straight Bourbon (93 Proof)

Easy drinking bourbon with a smokey flavor

It’s a little too sweet for me with a big cinnamon hit. It reminds me of the cinnamon bears my dad used to eat. The finish is a little off, too, but I can’t identify why. Not a bad bottle, just not one I would buy again

Poured neat. Nose: Caramel latte and damp wood. Hint of cherry cough drop. Palate: Youthful, not much complexity. Black pepper, tobacco, and a green tea finish. Not my favorite, but not bad either.

Good bourbon.
