Boondocks 8 Year Port Finished Bourbon

An ever so slight hint of sweetness on the finish.

Spicy, vanilla

The nose strongly resembles a red wine with a hint of pine needles at the end. As acidic as the nose is, the palate is surprisingly earthy and vegetal. This is a very savory whiskey. Finish is similarly savory, with corn and a hint of smoke lingering without outstaying their welcome.

Not a strong alcohol burn with the mouth feel but definitely exhales with a touch of nose sensation. I get a hint of maple but settles in the mouth really well. Store pick.
