Breckenridge PX Sherry Cask Finish

Easy drinking, smooth and sweet. Makes a nice bourbon Manhattan. Not as much a sherry note as expected with PX finishing.

Tasted at NWB on 12/19/18 Bourbon mash bill did not blend wth sherry finish. The two flavors seemed to be at odds with one another.

smells akin to a cask strength but extra-sweet Blanton's. served neat it tastes like it needs 2years to age. on the rocks it sweetens up and rose and wood notes pop on the nose. wood, rose and vanilla finish

Nose is sweet with hints of spice. Taste blossoms with lots of spice and light sweetness, paired with a moderate burn.
