Sweet oak, caramel and a very slight hint of tobacco. Despite the ABV it’s thin, and a little bland, but it hints generally at the robust flavour profiles that other Buffalo Trace Distillery bourbons are renowned for. Save your money and opt for Weller, or Blanton’s, or Stagg, or Taylor... $43 in Ontario.
Smooth, just sweet enough. Almost no burn. My favorite so far (but I've got plenty left to try) - first time I think I've actually tasted corn flavors. Not sure if that's because of this particular bottle or that I've finally had enough varieties that my palate is becoming more "educated" 😉. Either way, this one might just turn me into a bourbon guy.
